Fairchild FC-2W #2

Ready to go!  This particular aircraft, built in 1927, has an interesting history and a very long service life.  Amazingly, it began it's duty as the first aircraft being purchased by the NACA.  Other operators were  NASA, National Park Service, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  Now it is part of the Golden Wings Flying Museum.  It is great to see that it is kept in an airworthy condition.
